Greyrock Tower, a 14-story, 306 unit luxury rental apartment complex in downtown Stamford is completed and fully occupied. One, two and three bedroom apartments range in size from 750 to 1,674 square feet. The building is designed to incorporate the existing rock outcropings and mature tree grove on the southwest corner of the site and more than 1 acre has been set aside as open space. The site is incorporated into the Stamford Downtown Special Services District, an organization whose efforts to successfully integrate mixed uses in the District have resulted in a downtown area notable for its vibrancy. Tenant amenities include a swimming pool, clubroom, complete exercise facility and tennis courts. Twenty-seven apartments were set aside for below market rate rentals in accordance with the City of Stamford Planned Development regulations.
